The Blurb
Lacy Marie Crocker has settled into a comfortable groove back home in New Orleans, and with Valentine’s Day right around the corner, she’s busier than ever running a thriving pet boutique, helping her mother organize the upcoming National Pet Pageant, and untangling her complicated love life. But when delivering a king-sized order of dreidel-shaped doggy biscuits for a Saint Berdoodle’s bark-mitzvah, Lacy stumbles into yet another murder scene — and the last person to see the victim alive was her own father.
It’s up to Lacy to clear her dad’s name from the suspect list before Detective Jack Oliver has to cage him for good. But just when she starts pawing at the truth, she receives a threatening letter from a mysterious blackmailer bent on silencing her with her own secrets. And Lacy’s not the only one with bones in her closet.

The Review
I just read an amazing book, y'all — Cat Got Your Secrets by Julie Chase, book three in the Kitty Couture Mysteries. Let me tell you a little about it.
Cat Got Your Secrets is a prime example of why I love cozies so much. Author Julie Chase has combined a fantastic mystery that kept me guessing, a splash of romance, and liberal amounts of humor to create her latest novel. It is a fun, quick read that I couldn't put down and didn't want to end.
I'd read the previous books in the series (#1 Cat Got Your Diamonds, and #2 Cat Got Your Cash), so I was already crushing on Lacy Crocker and Detective Jack Oliver. After reading Cat Got Your Secrets, I'm definitely in love with them — and quite fond of Lacy's Dad, her old pal Chase, BFF Scarlet, and her shopkeeper Imogene.
Lacy is genuine, relatable, and someone I would want as a friend in real life. The dynamic of the relationship between Lacy and Jack is well-written, with great chemistry and electricity.
I thoroughly enjoyed Cat Got Your Secrets, and recommend it to all fans of cozy mysteries, especially fans of cat cozies. I think it will have special appeal to those who are fans of The Geek Girl Mysteries.
I absolutely love Cat Got Your Secrets by Julie Chase, and hereby award it our highest rating of Five Kitties!

Careful. You Might be a Mystery Addict IF:
1. Everything on your TiVo is a crime drama and your DVD shelf is filled with Castle and Psyche boxed sets.
2. You know the killer on every mystery show within five minutes because you realize they are this week’s guest star.
3. You have the killer in books narrowed down to two or less by chapter three.
4. You stop reading and throw a little private party when you realize you were right.
5. You regularly apply your secret sleuthing skills to real life situations like Who is eating other employees’ lunches from the office fridge? And What are my neighbors up to over there?
6. You were raised on Hardy Boys, Nancy Drew and/or Babysitters Club and Harriet the Spy.
7. You know Scooby Doo is the best cartoon ever because there aren’t any ghosts, just a sneaky old man in need of some pesky kids to stop his harassment.
8. Your favorite authors can scare you, then make you laugh on the same page.
9. Your FAVORITE-favorite authors can stump you with their puzzles and leave you thirsty for more.
I don’t know about you, but I score 100% on any mystery-addiction quiz, and I can’t get enough cozies. There’s something about the perfect mix of excitement and humor that keeps me turning pages.
If you’re in the market for a new book, author or series, I hope you’ll give the Kitty Couture Mysteries a try.
