The second Cat Thursday of each month is Authors and Cats Thursday. Each time we will feature an author and his/her cat(s).
Lorna is currently owned by three cats -- Betsy, Fred, and Chester. Betsy and Fred are rescues. Betsy will be 18 in October. Fred, the Tuxedo, is 11. Chester is all black. He'll be 17 later this summer. Lorna found Chester "used" in a pet shop. (He was 6 months old and had been returned when his owner couldn't take care of him. She got him on sale, too!)
Here are all three of Lorna's cats, sleeping under a 200 watt light bulb in her husband's office. Winter, spring, summer, fall, they sleep under that light bulb. (Lorna's worried ... incandescent bulbs are going away. What will the cats do when the bulbs are unavailable ???)

Betsy likes to Hang out -- literally. She likes to hang on a chair
or sit on your foot (and, light as she is, after a while she gets heavy). That's Lorna's husband's foot in the picture.
