Calendar of Crime 2020 Reading Challenge

The final challenge I chose from My Reader's Block is Calendar of Crime 2020. It's a new-to-me challenge that should be fun, based on the check-off sheet below.

Virtual Mount TBR Reading Challenge 2020

In addition to my TBR shelf of books I own, I also have many library books on my TBR shelf. The Virtual Mount TBR Reading Challenge, also hosted by Bev at My Reader's Block, will aid me in whittling down my shelf.

From Bev:

Last year I created the Virtual Mount TBR Reading Challenge for all those folks who had asked me why library books couldn't count for the Mount TBR Challenge.

Mount TBR Reading Challenge 2020

I have a huge TBR shelf, so I'm signing up for the Mount TBR Reading Challenge as an incentive to read some of the books I already own. This challenge is hosted by Bev at My Reader's Block.

From Bev:

January 2020 kicks off the ninth year for the Mount TBR Reading Challenge. Please join me in knocking out some of those books that have been waiting for attention for weeks...months...even years.

Alphabet Soup – Author Edition Reading Challenge 2020

Here's a variation on the Alphabet Soup Challenge, also hosted on Escape With Dollycas.

From Dollycas:

Alphabet Soup – Author Edition Reading Challenge!

Just for Fun!

Alphabet Soup Reading Challenge 2020

Another fun challenge hosted at Escape With Dollycas Into a Good Book - the 2020 Alphabet Soup Reading Challenge.

From Dollycas:

This is my favorite Challenge!

The Alphabet Soup Challenge means that, by December 31, 2020, your bowls must be filled by one book for each letter of the Alphabet. Each Letter Counts As 1 Spoonful.

Craving For Cozies 2020 Reading Challenge

Dollycas at Escape With Dollycas Into A Good Book is again hosting the Craving for Cozies Reading Challenge.

From Dollycas:

Cozy mysteries, also referred to simply as “cozies”, are a sub-genre of crime fiction mysteries in which sex and violence are downplayed or treated humorously, and the crime and detection take place in a small, socially intimate community. The crime-solver is an amateur sleuth, usually but not always a woman, who is thrust into the aftermath of the murder. The protagonist frequently has an occupation or hobby that brings appealing information to the reader.

The Purrfect Reading Challenge 2020

The third and final of Yvonne's challenges.

From Yvonne:
I’m back again with the Purrfect Reading Challenge.
Two of my favorite things are cats and mysteries. So, I combined them for the *purrfect* reading challenge. It's very simple, this challenge is all about reading mysteries that have cats as the main characters.

What An Animal Reading Challenge 2020

Another challenge hosted by Yvonne at Socrates' Book Reviews, 2020 What An Animal Reading Challenge.

From Yvonne:

I love reading books that feature animals and am going to host this one again. I hope you will join me.
The challenge will begin on January 1, 2020 and end on December 31, 2020.
Any book read for this challenge has to have an animal that plays a major role in the book (which could be fiction or non-fiction.) It also counts if the main character is (or turns into) an animal (define that however you'd like).

Cruisin' Thru The Cozies Reading Challenge 2020

Yvonne at Socrates' Book Reviews is hosting the tenth annual Cruisin' thru the Cozies Reading Challenge

From Yvonne:
Once again, I'm giving challengers two options - one is to read only sub-genres and the other is to read cozy mysteries of your choice. This year's cozy mystery reading challenge has two ways to participate and you can choose whichever suits you the best:

Reading Challenge Addicts 2020

I will be participating in mass quantities of Reading Challenges for 2020, because, "My name is Jane, and I *hangs head* am a Reading Challenge Addict." It is only fitting, therefore, that the first challenge I tell you about is the Reading Challenge Addicts 2020 challenge.
