There she is.

Yes, indeed, ladies and gentlemen, Maxie did really learn her lesson (see my comments following our Cat Thursday post of January 30).  She has not wanted to go outside since then, and has been content to remain in the garage.  I think she would stay inside the house all of the time, if I would let her (but I must put her in the garage periodically so she can use her litter box).
